We provide alternative therapies in conjunction with traditional medicine and surgery to help improve outcomes and to give us additional options for treating our patients. Some of the alternative therapies, or integrative medicine, that we offer include acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine and laser therapy. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about whether these types of therapy could benefit your pet.

Dr Williams and our staff are experienced in animal behavior and can help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and recommend a treatment regimen for your pet.

Some pets benefit from special food, and all pets require a balanced diet. Our trained staff can help you choose the right diet for a healthy, happy and active life.

Extra pounds on your pet is as troublesome if not more so than it is on people. Early arthritis, diabetes, heart problems and lack of mobility all take away the intrinsic joy every pet deserves, and are all often avoidable. Dr Williams has programs and alternative therapies to help your pet live a full, healthy and happy life.
We believe regular dental care is the best approach for long-term oral health. Regular professional cleaning is important to maintain your pet’s teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasonic cleaning device to clean each tooth, above and below the gum line, thoroughly. By polishing teeth to a smooth, lustrous surface, pets can avoid the side effects of plaque buildup from bad breath to gingivitis to heart and kidney problems from advanced bacterial infection.

What about Hospice, Palliative Care and End of Life Services – What are these?

Palliative care, like hospice and end of life care, is a growing focus among veterinary medical professionals. Where veterinary medicine is centered on curing a disease, Hospice, Palliative and End of Life Care focuses on patient comfort and quality of life for both the pet and their humans. Care structure is unique to each family environment and addresses the difficulties every pet owner must navigate.

In committing to a yearly plan for your pet’s health, you guarantee they will receive the best care available. Regular visits to the vet are important as pets age because, like humans, instances of poor health, from cancer and diabetes to poor joint health, arthritis and immobility can be prevented or better managed by early detection. Our plans offer significant discounts on necessary care, as well as many perks and benefits to members. We promise to help you stay up to date on any services that will benefit your pet as they enter and thrive in their later years.
